Blackberry Blossom offers morning preschool classes from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for children ages 3-5 years.  We offer three schedules:  Monday/Wednesday, Tuesday/Thursday or Monday through Thursday.  Our next school year begins August 31, 2026 and ends May 27, 2027.  Each class can have up to 5 children.  

On a typical day at Blackberry Blossom you will find us playing and learning with loose parts and real tools, spending time with our human and animal friends, creating art, moving our bodies joyfully, and observing and experimenting with the natural world.  We also have the children experience work that contributes to the homestead. This may include feeding the animals, collecting eggs, filling bird feeders, and gardening. Preschoolers love real work, and the benefits are a beautiful thing to behold! Every day, we will be enjoying quality literature, doing real world math, and having meaningful conversations with one another.

We embrace what is known as an emergent curriculum. This means we have the freedom to enjoy experiences and projects best suited to the interests, abilities, needs, and development of the children we serve.  But no matter what we are doing, nature and play are at its heart.
